On April 25th, Öznil Budak is giving an oral presentation entitled “Facile synthesis of vanadium (III) oxide/carbon core/shell hybrid particles as an anode for lithium-ion batteries”. On April 24th, Volker Presser is giving an invited oral presentation entitled “Perspectives on water desalination with ion intercalation compounds”.
New paper published in Journal of Materials Chemistry A on the use of sodium vanadyl phosphate as electrode material for sodium ion removal via electrochemical desalination.
PhD student Öznil Budak is one of the 5 receipients of the poster award for a poster presentation. Her poster was entitled “Facile synthesis of V2O3/carbon core/shell hybrids as an anode for lithium-ion batteries”. Congratulations!
New paper published in Batteries&Supercaps on vanadium oxide / carbon core/shell electrode materials for lithium-ion anodes. The work was done in collaboration with the Max-Planck Institute in Düsseldorf and present a simplified one-pot/two-step synthesis approach.
